When the gates first opened for the 2021 edition of the Sunset Music Festival on May 29th, eyes all over the world were seemingly locked on Tampa, Florida. After all, this year’s event was one of the first major festivals to return on a full scale post-pandemic lockdown. Wanting to deliver an experience worthy of the pent-up anticipation, organizers brought together an exciting and eclectic lineup and spectacular production packages across its three stages – including a Trinity robotic line source system from PK Sound for the bass-heavy Eclipse Stage.
In April 2021, pockets across the U.S. were seeing some light at the end of the figurative tunnel and it seemed like only a matter of time until full-scale live events would return post-pandemic; however, not wanting to wait for that still-unspecified date to deliver a high-impact musical experience to fans in the Northwest, Treadway Events and Detox Nightlife paired an enviable lineup and top-tier production technologies package – including a Trinity robotic line source system from PK SOUND – for the Road Rage Drive-In Concert at Portland International Raceway.
PK Sound, the robotic line array company, has announced an expansive new partnership with premier West Coast audio production provider FM Systems. The agreement finds FM Systems joining the PK Alliance and working to establish a more collaborative and mutually rewarding approach to the live sound industry.
An iconic Calgary venue with heritage dating back to the early 1900s has been restored and revived with the help of a sound system by PK Sound.
