RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, prototype, test, and prepare projects for manufacturing.
- Loudspeaker measurement, analysis, and field testing under extreme conditions.
- Brainstorm improvements to architecture and development process.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring transparent communication with management.
- Oversee comprehensive firmware documentation, ensure industry standards compliance, and create user manuals.
- Engage in all product lifecycle phases, maintaining consistent quality and reliability.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU'LL NEED
- Demonstrated RTOS firmware development in C.
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++ and familiarity with other firmware development tools.
- Experience with multi-core microprocessors, memory, and industry interfaces: PCIe, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART.
- Knowledge of professional audio and/or DSP architecture.
- Advanced networking skills and knowledge.
- Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Security and optimization techniques for firmware.
NICE TO HAVE
- Acoustical engineering knowledge.
- Advanced debugging skills.
- Python/Linux scripting
- Test automation experience
- Industry-specific experience: automotive, aerospace, DSP programming.
- Connectivity protocols knowledge: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, AES70, Milan Audio.
- Demonstrated innovative skills, such as patents or unique problem-solving methods.
EDUCATION & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Working knowledge of reading electrical schematics and circuit analysis
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional firmware engineering experience.
- The ability to travel without restriction.
