PK Sound, the robotic line array company, has formally welcomed Chicago’s High Frequency Productions to the PK Alliance following the company’s investment in a T10 robotic line source system. As a Member, High Frequency can augment their T10 system with large-format Trinity Black robotic array elements from the Alliance’s dry-hire inventory.
“We’ve always prided ourselves on being a technology-forward company, and when it comes to live sound reinforcement, PK Sound’s robotic systems are at the cutting-edge of acoustic performance and operational efficiency,” comments Juan Ocampo, Owner and Production Manager at High Frequency Productions. “Not only that, but the PK Alliance model has a lot of benefits for a growing business and we’re happy to be able to collaborate within this group of skilled and likeminded companies.”
High Frequency Productions’ PK Sound system comprises 24 T10 medium-format robotic line source elements, 16 T218 intelligent subwoofers, and a PK Cell, which combines power, signal, and network data distribution in a modular, globally standardized touring rack.
The company is also among the Beta testing partners for PK’s incoming .dynamics software, which unites every aspect of the modern live sound workflow in a single solution.
Based in the Chicago Metropolitan Area, High Frequency Productions is a live event and touring company specializing in turnkey lighting, video, and now audio production services for a wide array of concert, cultural, and corporate applications.
The company recently debuted its T10 system for a highly anticipated and sold-out engagement with Marca MP at the revered Rosemont Theatre.
“As a youthful company with a very talented, technically proficient, and passionate team, High Frequency fits our ideal Member profile to a tee and we’re happy to welcome them into the PK Alliance,” comments Trevor Grenier, Global Partner Support with PK Sound. “We’re looking forward to growing our success in tandem with them and our growing network of PK Alliance partners.”
